It definitely touched when he first went down

You mean I should listen to the guys in the booth who are called idiots 50,000 times a game? Sure. I'll get right on that.

He did. That was the ONE time it was called. It was ignored all the other times. So I guess u did actually watch the game, right?

If it barely hits the ground and the receiver maintains control then it's a catch. I think the tip of the ball hit the ground causing the receiver to lose control. That's why it was ruled an incomplete pass.

Rigged? No.

Horribly officiated? Definitely.

He didnt maintain control. What about this is hard? The ball was moving all over the ****ing place after the ball appears to hit the ground.

This thread make me embarrassed to be a fan of the same team as some of you guys.

No. You should listen to the official on the phone who said if it was him, he would reverse it. The only thing you really should get right on is a refresher course of what constitutes a catch.

You guys are dumb as all hell, lmfao. Listen to a retired officials opinion on a catch and ignore the actual official on the field.

Bowser 02-07-2016 10:32 PM

If you would have continued the sentence to say "....to look like a sloppy preseason game", then I would have had to agree with you.

Yes he did, till after the fact. Dude cupped it, it did not hit ground. He rolled and had it pinned on his hip - still maintaining control. THEN it moves AFTER he satisfied what constitutes a catch. It was an easy call to make once seen on replay.

DaneMcCloud 02-07-2016 10:35 PM

All I know is that was the worst Super Bowl game in recent memory.

Bland offensively, no real special teams plays, no superstar excitement.

If it had been a regular season game, I would have changed the channel.

The whole thing lacked any energy, IMO.

Alright, moron.

Tell me how someone maintains control of the ball when the hand they are "controlling" it with isn't on the ball when he's rolling around after hitting the ground.
