You can drink all the booze in the world and it won't fill that hole in your heart. Start to cope. Get a new GF.

Alcoholics are masochists.
How can you drink every day and deal with those ****ing hangovers each and every morning? |

Get real drunk, so you have some of that liquid courage in ya, then call your ex and beg for her to come back. She's probably gonna say no, but just think of how good you will feel if she says yes. That will get rid of the drinking problem.

I've set up a schedule where I jog in the AM lift weights and night. I'll only drink 1 night a week on the weekend. So far 1 for 1. There were some gems in this thread I really do appreciate it guys.

Good luck.
It's never a bad thing to question alcohol consumption. |
Drink as much water as you do beer and you won't get a major headache

hmmm I'd say there are two definitions:
1) Alcohol is hindering or causing harm to your personal relationships, and or career. 2) You are experiencing physical symptoms of addiction when you do not drink. If one of the above shoes fit, you may have a problem. |
3) You get shitfaced, puke all over the bathroom, and instead of cleaning it up you get on a football chat room and ask if you have a problem....

Billay your 8th grade math is showing through again.
Unless you are having 1oz pours of whiskey, which is extremely small, you are getting anywhere from 95-130 calories per shot of whiskey as a shot is 1.5-2oz. 3-4 drinks is likely putting you near 400 calories of whiskey alone, not taking into account what you might mix it with. Stop being fat. |

I don't consider someone who has a glass of wine at supper most nights an alcoholic, but someone who is drinking to get drunk almost everyday certainly is. |
