Oh horse shit.

Stop projecting to him to be a starter. This is a depth signing. At most, he'll be in competition for. Certainly not a lock to start.

Consider the source ...

Perez was the dude who got all inFATuated with Ragland in the beginning. He is the person responsible for convincing Chiefs fans that Ragland had ability. It was Perez that compared Ragland favorably to DJ and other linebacking "greats".

So you're going to put Ragland at MLB in your base package and then run what....Hitchens and DOD in your nickle?

Sounds about right.

Which would basically make DOD a starter because they’ll be in nickel a ton.

Ragland shouldn't even be on the damn team.

Seems like you have a pretty damn high bar there hoss.

Look at the current landscape of the NFL, this isn't the 1980s.

It's possible they do....everyone is just guessing at the moment.

While I get that point a special teams LB that doesn't play in subs will see maybe 35% of the defensive snaps.

He was our best LB besides DOD last year

Which is precisely what Williams has been to this point. I think penciling him in as a starter is a bit premature, myself.
