The Faid play the Jets this week, so they too are on a bye week.

Not necessarily... Raiders having to fly cross country and play an early kickoff will be a challenge.

And the Jets did beat the Cowboys at home this year so they can certainly beat an overrated Raiders team.

I'd like to say yes...…………………...but Chiefs will be Chiefs, and 4th quarter Andy will be 4th quarter Andy, and NFL officiating will be NFL officiating. That's a lot for Mahomes to overcome. So I'm going into this with a healthy dose of skepticism.

On the surface, it’s been a strange and unpredictable season. But really, none of the results have been that strange. Being held to 13 by the Colts was disappointing, but not terribly shocking, given that Hill and Watkins were both out and they dominated TOP.

Don’t care what anyone says....officiating killed us in the first half vs the Texans. That’s likely a semi-comfortable win if not for several questionable calls and a huge miscue.

Would have beaten the Packers with Mahomes.

Completely outplayed the Titans. Got a bit careless maybe. Thought they could coast in the 4th and it backfired due to some fluke occurrences.

There’s no reason the offense can’t get back to what it was doing early in the year. I think the team is overall more equipped to make a run this year than last (when healthy). Same offensive capability, improved defense. Weaker Patriots team. Baltimore, of course, could be a problem.

Say what you want but the Patriots are still the Patriots. I keep hoping that Brady's age really starts to cost them games but I'm still waiting. And yeah, that defense has benefitted from playing some pretty weak offenses but that doesn't mean they're not good. I hope they fall off a cliff in December but I'm not counting on it.

Chiefs are normally September Champions and never peak at the right time.

A late November Bye is perfect, Ravens and Pats have tough run games and the only division games are all at home. Defense has figured a few things out too.

It's all set up for this team.

Way off topic/point, but I wonder how many people in 1970 said, "not necessarily" when they were told the Chiefs wouldn't win a(nother) SB for at least 50 years? Karma finds many ways to **** Chiefs fans.

I'm no football guru, never learned ins and outs of game. Don't know a cover 2 from a cover your cough. But as a general fan watching games this year, the Chiefs appear to not have used as much of the playbook as they did last year. Have you football geniuses noticed this too. If true, is it injuries holding them back or what. If y'all think there is no difference from year to year then never-mind.
