Yeah, me neither.

It's odd. Not necessarily right when i wake up, but I will have song fragments in my head that kind of loop all day long. For instance today, I have about 3 measures of Gershwin's American in Paris repeating. It's a transitional musical phrase between two differing themes of the song. Tomorrow it will be some other song, but usually only a couple chord progressions.

That song has sent thousands to seek mental help! :LOL:

That charity is run by Hasidic Jews out of an industrial park in Lakewood NJ. Very unique.

Stuck in my head for three days once - nearly offed myself.

I wake up, and go to sleep, with music in my head.

Many times it's just a random song, sometimes it's ideas for original stuff. I still write on occasion.

I have had a couple dreams where I "wake up" in that were playing Plowed by Sponge, which is pretty funny if you know the lyrics.

Luckily I have no idea who that is or what the song is. Don't even think I'd heard the name before. One of the benefits of being an old fart with his musical tastes stuck in the late 70s.

And NO, I won't investigate further.
