Today's my first day on the new BB. I've been wondering if someone held a party and I missed the invitation. Am I welcome here?

Yes dnvrCHIEFSfn, you are welcome. EVERYONE is welcome here, no exceptions. This has nothing to do with any poster on the ol' BB, it had to do with the BBA's handling of the topics last week.

ICQ is a direct messaging method. Different offerors, but for each they assign you a number. You basically can poll the net (sort of like dialing a telephone) to see if they are on-line in an attempt to establish a dialog. That is my rudimentary knowledge, I have heard that it possibly can be used for voice communication as well but do not know if that is a fact.
