I got one of the new Foreman grills for my birthday last month. I am not all that happy with it though. When cooking steak especially.

I need that thing to get HOT so it will put those grill marks on my steak the way yours appears to. But mine is one of the new ones that has the pull off cooking surfaces and it just won't get hot enough. In order to get those grill marks I have to leave the meat on so long that it cooks all the way through the meat.

I only use the damn thing for chicken and chops now.

I had a chili dog :deevee: and chips at my sons basketball game. On the way home we munched on candy and popcorn. The inventor of flavored tums rocks,,:thumb:

The oldest daughter wanted to cook tonight so I am eating Cheesy Hashbrowns with a couple pieces of toast. Nothing to really brag about, but it's filling, and I didn't have to fix it.

I had never tried one until he gave me one for Christmas at the Chiefs game. Then when I got home I found that section in the local LS, it's nowhere near the section I'm used to going to.

You're just a scorsese/coppola cocksmoker. Feh.

BTW, I know it will kill you to learn this, but Francis Ford Coppola and George Lucas have been great buddies for years. YEARS.

Demonpenz 01-18-2005 08:42 PM

I've known that for quite some time. They made Zoetrope together. Coppola produced THX and Graffiti. I'm fine with that. I'm sure George Lucas is a great guy, in a different sort of way. I just don't admire the pictures he has tried to pass off as film and see them glorified to an outrageous level. I've never understood the love Star Wars, and don't intend on trying.

Saulbadguy 01-18-2005 08:47 PM

I bought a bottle of wine from Coppolas winery once.
