Can't decide who looked worse at the end of the game, Bulls or Hawks? Hate when games end with one of the team's falling apart. Rather a team step up to make a big play to win.

See what happens when u want to be an actor lol.
Dumb ass |
Why the hell did Doc have Daniels on Horford?
|
The Celtics looked like complete shit, the Hawks were the Hawks.
|
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO go celtics

Hawks get majorly ****ed.
The intentional foul rule in the NBA should just be thrown out since it never gets called. Daniels makes no play on the ball whatsoever on the 2nd ref **** up. The first should have been 2 shots on the foul before the inbounds. NBA refs are the ****ing worst. |

Lol @ Chris Anderson
****ing weirdo |
DENVER — Denver Nuggets reserve center Chris “Birdman” Andersen has been excused indefinitely from all team-related activities after Douglas County sheriff’s deputies searched his home Thursday as part of an investigation by the department’s Internet Crimes Against Children unit.
So, Andersen won’t be on the bench when the Nuggets face the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 6 of their playoff series Thursday night. The team issued a statement saying Andersen has been “excused from all team-related activities indefinitely as he deals with the reported investigation” and declined further comment. The 10th-year pro hasn’t played in the postseason after averaging 5.3 points and 4.6 rebounds during the regular season. Sheriff’s spokesman Ron Hanavan confirmed that the search took place Thursday. Andersen has not been arrested and Hanavan said no arrest warrant has been issued. The department began investigating Andersen in February after receiving information from a law enforcement agency in California. Hanavan declined to release details, including the nature of any pending charges, citing an ongoing investigation. He said they’re asking that the case be sealed. Andersen answered the door at his Larkspur, Colo., home, about 40 miles south of Denver, and let deputies in, said Deborah Sherman, another sheriff’s spokesperson. “He did cooperate. He spoke with deputies,” Sherman said. The unit investigating Andersen investigates child porn, Internet luring and child predators. The sheriff’s office said it recovered property from Andersen’s home that investigators believe is connected with the case. Sherman said items typically seized by the unit include computers, hard drives, and thumb drives, though she said she could not provide details on what items were seized from Andersen’s home, citing the ongoing investigation. An arrest is not imminent, Sherman said, saying that it typically takes several weeks to a month for investigators to collect evidence from the seized items. Deputies requested that the search warrant application filed in court be sealed because of the ongoing investigation. Mark Bryant, who serves as Andersen’s agent and attorney, said: “At this time, I respect the process and I have no further comment to protect the integrity of everyone involved. We’ll proceed from there.” A message left at Andersen’s home wasn’t immediately returned Thursday to The Associated Press. Andersen is in his 10th year in the NBA and his seventh season in Denver, although his playing time dropped dramatically this season as young players gobbled up more minutes. Ive been pretty confident in OKC against these two teams all along. I think the Lakers would be more fun because our crowd gets so amped for them. If we have Perk we'll beat these teams in 5 games. If we don't, it will be tough, but we should still win in 6 or 7.
It's a much better matchup for us than the Clippers or Memphis would be. Don't mind seeing it go 7 so Perkins gets a couple more days. Although a game Saturday night sounds like fun :) |
George Karl is schooling Mike Brown BTW. I think Denver has a chance in game 7.
|
Denver believes they can win now. Kobe is the only Laker playing with heart. The rest look like they want to go home.
|
Kobe was the only one who remembered that they had a game today.

Looking forward to watching some hoops. Anyone remember Golden State series in 07 or so. That was fun playoffs.
|
Can we just fast forward the season about a month to get to either Spurs Vs. Heat or Thunder Vs. Heat?
The rest is pointless..... |

Anyone know how the NBA playoff TV ratings are looking this year? Was at the bar last Friday, out on the patio. 8 or so TVs and all but one had hockey or NFL draft or something other than NBA. Doesn't seem like you hear too much about it even on talk radio.

The opener of the Knicks/Heat NBA playoff series did not earn blockbuster numbers on ABC Saturday, but still managed to eke out an increase over last year. Game 1 of the Knicks/Heat first round NBA playoff series drew a 3.1 final rating and 4.752 million viewers on ABC, up a tick in ratings and 5% in viewership from Sixers/Heat Game 1 last year (3.0, 4.546M), and up 24% and 29%, respectively, from Bulls/Cavaliers Game 1 in 2010 (2.5, 3.679M). This marks the most-viewed game on the first Saturday of the playoffs (on broadcast) since Supersonics/Spurs Game 1 on NBC in 2002 (4.946M). With that said, significantly higher numbers could have been expected, considering the teams involved. On Sunday, Game 1 of the Nuggets/Lakers series drew a 3.3 final rating and 4.882 million viewers — down 11% in ratings and 18% in viewership from Hornets/Lakers Game 1 last year (3.7, 5.950M), and flat in ratings and down 5% in viewership from Thunder/Lakers Game 1 in 2010 (3.3, 5.132M). The game actually drew a lower rating and fewer viewers than the Thunder/Lakers regular season game in the same timeslot a week earlier (3.4, 5.095M). http://www.sportsmediawatch.com/2012...tslakers-down/ |
And this explains why there weren't any NBA games on at the bar last Friday. You don't want to go head-to-head with the NFL draft. Or, apparently, the Kentucky Derby:
NBA Playoffs: Overnight Ratings Drop For All Five Games on ESPN May 7, 2012 2:17 PM 1 Comment and 1 Reaction It was a rough weekend for the NBA Playoffs on ESPN, as all five of the network’s telecast windows suffered double-digit declines compared to last year. On Friday, Game 3 of the Lakers/Nuggets series drew a 2.6 overnight rating on ESPN, down 24% from Lakers/Hornets Game 3 in the same window a year earlier (3.4), but up 13% from Mavericks/Spurs Game 3 in 2010 (2.3). Earlier in the night, Hawks/Celtics Game 3 drew a 2.0 overnight rating — down 29% from Celtics/Knicks Game 3 last year (2.8), but up 11% from Celtics/Heat Game 3 in 2010 (1.8). Over on ESPN2, Bulls/Sixers Game 3 drew a 0.9 overnight, down a tick from Magic/Hawks Game 3 last year (1.0), and down 18% from Nuggets/Jazz Game 3 in a later timeslot in 2010 (1.1). Keep in mind each of the 2010 games aired opposite second and third round coverage of the NFL Draft. On Saturday, Game 4 of the Magic/Pacers series drew a 1.6 overnight rating, down 43% from Bulls/Pacers Game 4 on TNT in the comparable window last year (2.8), but up a tick from Magic/Bobcats Game 4 on TNT in 2010 (1.5). Later in the day, Grizzlies/Clippers Game 3 drew a 2.2 overnight, down 19% from Mavericks/Trail Blazers Game 4 on TNT last year (2.7), but up 10% from Suns/Trail Blazers Game 4 on TNT in 2010 (2.0). The game faced hefty competition from the Kentucky Derby on NBC. http://www.sportsmediawatch.com/2012...games-on-espn/ |

Heat/Knicks making a decent showing in the ratings: One of the bright spots in an otherwise slow postseason, the short-lived Heat/Knicks series concluded with another increase in viewership Wednesday night. Game 5 of the Knicks/Heat first round NBA playoff series drew 4.102 million viewers on TNT, up 13% from Sixers/Heat Game 5 last year (3.623M), and up 43% from Bucks/Hawks Game 5 in 2010 (2.538M). Of the 31* NBA playoff games on ABC, TNT, ESPN and ESPN2 this year, Wednesday’s Game 5 was just the ninth to have an increase in viewership compared to last year. Four of the nine increases were for Heat/Knicks games. Later Wednesday night, Game 5 between the Clippers and Grizzlies drew 4.016 million viewers — down 6% from Nuggets/Thunder Game 5 last year (4.266M), but up 39% from Jazz/Nuggets Game 5 in 2010 (3.060M). Despite the modest decline, the game ranks as the most-viewed playoff telecast this year to not involve the Heat, Thunder or Lakers. * Does not include Sunday’s Bulls/Sixers Game 4 and Heat/Knicks Game 4 on ABC, as final viewership for those games was not immediately available. http://www.sportsmediawatch.com/2012...rizzlies-down/ |

Lakers are playing with Zero heart except for Kobe. I doubt they would have looked this bad under Jackson.

There were several series a while back where the Lakers got taken to game 7's by teams that they were superior against. |
Do people still think the Lakers trading for Chris Paul would have been a bad trade?

Last years 4 game sweep was worse then this. Game 7 should be alot different, with Ron back. He will force some offense on the post and shot over 40 percent from 3 after the break. He's in shape, his back is better and it showed when KObe went down.
At least he can keep Miller and Danillo in Check. |
Hornets would have gotten: Dragic, Scola, Martin and Odom. Dragic himself is probably the best player the Hornets would have gotten. Eric Gordon is a glass vag.

I'd have a hard time being a Lakers fan with Artest and Bynum. They really don't deserve to wear the jersey. They should be playing for Broolyn reppin their hood and shit. |
