NY Giants select:

Ryan Carrethers, DT/DE, Arkansas State

Better prospect as a NT but I think he is explosive enough to play in a 4-3. Just try and move him out of his gap, I dare you.

Ok... whatever you say man. You're the ****ing dumbass that picked a guy that isn't even draftable. Sent you a ****ing PM, and posted that here thinking it would make sense based upon your pick. So hey, why don't you make picks that are ****ing possible so the rest of us don't have to remind you not to be so ****ing stupid.

OldSchool 04-27-2014 03:38 PM

Damnit Discuss, I was going to draft him for the Chargers in this round, lol. Richardson is one of my favorite mid-round prospects in this draft. Lots of potential and more than enough athletic ability to succeed in the NFL. Has a great knack for defending throws over the top.

The ****ing Dolphins select Max Bullough - ILB - Michigan State

It's fine. :) If you have any doubts, just check the position tracker. I've listed the names of every prospect by position there. Just be sure to check any possible position for that player. I listed Smith as a Safety and tried to go by what I thought each prospect would be playing in the NFL.

Yep looked for him as lb he could play wlb for a 43 ilb in mickle and dime or a big safety in a 3 safety look like the chiefs use. A real interesting player.

Honestly, I think he could be a more athletic Cam Chancellor. Would love it if we took him in the draft in the 3rd round and kicked Berry over to FS and let Smith play in Berry's former role in rotation with Abdullah.

I guess it's a pipe dream to get him in the 4th but yes I would take him for the chiefs and use him just as you suggest. The guy is thin but he is a big hitter who loves to play the game.

There's your value. Would allow us to release Devito next season. Hart is a big solid 5-tech who doesn't have much pass rush ability, probably due to the weird technique that they use in Oregon, but he's a rock on that line in run defense.

The cardinal rule in fantasy baseball is never give up the best player in the deal. You topped that by giving up the two best players in the deal. BRAVO!

I have one closer and there aren't any FA options available. That was one category I was/am guaranteed to lose every week as my roster is currently constructed. If my rotation was lights out for week, it still means I go 5-7-0 at best.

It's a ten team league, and to win the S category you need at least two closers totaling five saves. And even then, there are guys with five closers throwing. Winning saves has just as much weight as winning steals or homers for the week.

Ludicrous. The only real trade here was Felix for Morneau, the rest is shit. I don't know that Felix was worth giving up to get Morneau, I probably would have tried to trade Kazmir instead knowing the wheels will fall of that ride eventually.

****er wouldn't take Kazmir unless it was for the guys keeping the closer seat warm in Toronto or Pittsburgh.

With the 165th pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, the San Diego Chargers Select:

Ross Cockrell, CB, Duke

https://encrypted-tbn3.gstatic.com/i...zbFyID1p-9QHrA

Even after taking Fuller in the 1st, the Chargers are still in need of good talent in their defensive secondary. Ross Cockrell provides them with a legitimate developmental prospect who can at least push for snaps in the dime package. He's a great competitor and, barring injuries, should become a solid starter within a year or two.

sfchief 04-28-2014 07:40 PM

Cockrell shut down Mike Evans when they matched up.

Nice pick

OldSchool 04-28-2014 07:40 PM

Yeah, I just took the tracker out of spoilers but kept the rest of the finished rounds in spoilers. I'll switch that up once the draft is finished with.

Keep in mind, players are listed on the position tracker in terms of what I think they'll be playing at the next level. If the player you have is a tweener, say someone that many would consider a 3-4 OLB at the next level, be sure to check both the DE and OLB listings if you don't see his name listed in one or the other.

Yeah, if it weren't for his shorter-than-ideal arms, I think many scouts would rate him higher than they currently do (I've seen him projected anywhere from the 3rd to a 4th-5th round guy). He also really needs to improve his ability to shed blocks and take on blockers in the run game. His consistency in tackling, while he puts effort into it, needs work as well. Part of the problem may be that he plays a bit too high a lot of the time and many players have a significant length advantage on him. While Cockrell has good height for a CB, his arms are only about 30" long. He needs to add some more strength to his body.

With the 170th pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, the San Francisco 49ers select:

Wesley Johnson, OL, Vanderbilt

http://bloximages.newyork1.vip.townn...review-300.jpg

Wesley Johnson will be moved to the inside and will compete for the starting C position with the 49ers against Daniel Kilgore. He's a very versatile OL player and will, at worst, develop into a back-up player capable of filling in at any position along the OL. His best fit is the C position for the 49ers though. At this point, however, I don't think there is any prospect left who would make the 49ers 53 man roster.
