Yeah Keto is a recommended diet for epilepsy. It's essentially the Atkins induction phase, but you never phase out after a couple weeks. 20g or less of net carbs per day (carbs minus fiber).

Oh and there's some great substitutes available once you get into keto and start adding a few carbs back in.Some of my regular meals were taco salads without chips,spaghetti squash with homemade meat sauce,fried chicken(dipped in egg and rolled in pork rinds.) my eating habits remain absolutely terrible but I still have a pretty good metabolism apparently because I can tell the difference just from running and not completely useless all day every day |

I'm down 8 lbs since Tuesday.
Breakfast: eggs, cheese, spinach, jalapeņos and sriracha. Mix it all together, add bacon or sausage too. 28 oz green tea Snack: 28 oz of green tea and a pear Lunch: cottage cheese, fruit and more green tea Snack: apple w/peanut butter Dinner: big steak or chicken, veggies, cottage cheese, MOAR green tea DO NOT EAT AFTER 5:00 PM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't forget to power walk an hour a day. If you go to the gym set your speed at exactly at 3.7 and don't stop for an hour. |
Finally got over most my cold. I've been able to hit the gym three of the last four days. My eating habits are probably as bad or worse than Hooties.
My first day was 2 miles at 25:00. Today was 21:30. So it's getting better. I'm only running and probably will only run until the 1st. |

Haven't gone out to eat this year but still too heavy on the junk food. Sleep seemed stable but has gone to shit the last couple of days again.
On the plus side I've gotten 14 days of exercise this year. 8 bike rides and 6 walks of at least 4 miles. Might clear 150 miles on the bike in january, which is unheard of for me. Starting push ups monday. |

Wish I'd got in on this. However, I started going to the gym three days a week in November. I weighed 203. This weekend, I can see less gut and my face is thinner, but I weigh 207. I'm hoping it's turning fat into muscle.

Big setback today. Sprained my ankle. It is very weak, especially when it's cold out. I had broken this same ankle 2 years ago, that's why it's weak.
Gotta stay off my feet for the most part. |

Don't bother trying to count calories you burn from exercise.
Just count the calories you eat, stay below your BMR and exercise in addition to that. The weight will fly off. |
