You are what your record says you are. Buffalo is an extremely dangerous team that has been inconsistent, primarily due to poor coaching at the end of games. Examples include calling timeout as the opponent is desperately rushing a key 4th down play. And having 12 players on the field during a missed final play of regulation field goal that would have won the Bills the game. And playing defensive-backs 10 yards off on a final defensive drive where the Bills just need one stop.

On the other hand, Buffalo has the makings of a "team no-one wants to face" over the next 5 weeks. Since firing offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey, the Bills offense has scored 30+ points in back to back weeks. The Buffalo offense put up 31 points against a Philadelphia defense that Kansas City struggled to score 17 against. In addition to the 31 points, there were two missed field goals (should have scored more).

In addition to the OC changeup, Buffalo also traded for Rasul Douglas, who is a very smart and physical CB that has a top 10 PFF grade for his position. They also signed Linval Joseph that has paid immediate dividends by anchoring their defensive line. I believe if the team had these two players at the start of the season, the Bills would be 8-4 right now. This is because the Bills have 3 losses this season where the Josh Allen led offense took the lead, left the field with less than 2 minutes to go, and never saw the field again.

The Bills have the 5th highest net point differential in the league. They are a good team that has been bad at times (due to their own fault), but also very unlucky - unlucky from an injury, scheduling and referee standpoint (similar to how KC got the raw end of the refereeing stick last night). What do I mean by poor scheduling luck? Think about it - it's not just about who you play, but it's also about when you play them. For example: Miami got to play the Broncos at the beginning of the year when they were struggling badly. The Bills (and Chiefs) played them mid-year when they had their kinks worked out. The Dolphins got to play the Bengals in September, when Burrow was hobbling around the field. The Bills played the Bengals after Burrow was healed, but one game before he went out for the season. The schedule is not just about the opponent, but where the opponent is in their season when you play them.

For example, the Chiefs get Buffalo when they're hot. Rather than early on, when they were struggling.

When we beat you today. You owe me a bottle of rum, Diqlix. I’ll take a bottle of Doctor Bird Jamaican Rum!

A desperate Bills team plus Cheffers is kind of scary to be honest

They also are weak against the run. That defense is extremely vulnerable.

Going with Buffalo 21 KC 23

That's why I think KC will win also, plus we're at home.

KC 28- Bills 17

Ref swing will be 11 points.

Still think the home team will win, but God forbid the Chiefs are trailin with no chance with 13 seconds left.

It'll be the biggest bag O' bull**** ever from the announcers.

OK, this post has rekindled my flame. Reached deep down and found a spark of hope.

Chiefs injuries are bad but they keep bouncing back after losses.

Bills are 1-4 on the road and 1-4 against teams .500 or better.

Tough to score without Pop but Andy and Patrick find a way. Defense regains championship form.

Spags held Buffalo to 24 at Arrowhead last year. A better defense can hold down Buffalo again this year.

Chiefs 20, Bills 17

Also, KC's allowed 13 ppg at home. The D's been underwhelming in a road game or two, but consistently dominant at home. With Bolton coming back.

Don't understand how u can pick KC to score 28 points. Hell, I've seen some here even say 30+. Maybe 20 -17.

Pinchshot 12-10-2023 11:28 AM

I expect more running today. McKinnon comes up big.

23-20 Chiefs

Yeah, I don't see it. This has to be a game where the defense keeps Buffalo guessing and the offense needs to punch in a few TD's and not turn the ball over.

The offense is one of the best in terms of production in yards. They don't have a problem putting together 50-70 yard drives.

They have been significantly worse in the red zone and that's the difference. It's been everywhere.

Kelce fumble and Mahomes inexplicable INT against the Eagles killed us. Then the OL gave up 2 sacks and a holding penalty in GB. This were we're all in the red zone and it killed drives.

They just keep shooting their own dick. It's the whole offense. You just wonder which position group is gonna **** up this week.

MahomesMagic 12-10-2023 11:55 AM

Chiefs offense has been terrible in 4 out their last 5 games.

Your last paragraph is why Im doubting KC being able to score 27+ points. It's who they are this season. I guess anything is possible, though.

Terrible is averaging 19 PPG with this QB Coach combo. Won't cut it today. Need to bring their "playoff playbook"

Part of it are the bogus penalties other teams aren't being called for. Out in Philly, Lane still false starts and holds every pass play without being called

Keep pressure on Josh & he’ll throw picks. Let’s go Spags!!!

Buffalo (6-6) coming off a bye, has seen their offense improve under an interim OC, but five of the six the teams they've beaten are at or near the bottom of the league: Giants, Jets, Commanders, Raiders, Jets. Last week lost a close one to Philadelphia in OT. Bills had over 500 yards of offense.

Chiefs (8-4) well, we know how they've been doing. Finally back at Arrowhead after two road games and likely with two defensive starters out. How do we beat 'em?

There's a really good chance Buffalo wins this game because the Chiefs have consistently demonstrated their inconsistency on offense.

Not too optimistic about that. It really doesn't matter. This team wouldn't beat Cleveland right now.

The Chiefs are still currently drafting at 25. The Bills have dropped down to 24. They were in the lower teens. McDermott is double ****ing them to save his job
