This play makes me wish I didn't like football so much. It makes me wish I could walk away from the game forever and say, "**** you, NFL." That's what the league ****ing deserves on this.

I hope the NFL goes the way of boxing.

What a bunch of ****ing pussies.

It's pretty hopeless. They make it more and more difficult to be a fan each passing year. I don't think the NFL will be able to sustain their current attitude and retain Joe Fan for more than another decade or so. They're very fortunate fantasy football is perhaps saving the sport at this point.

That's how I felt with the regular officials. The scab refs at least add a lot of entertainment value. Think about it - would anyone at all be talking about the MNF game today if it weren't for the shitty calls? Instead, that's the only thing folks are talking about.

this x 1000

I was sick of the regulars thinking they were bigger than the game on the field...

So often an official had to take over just to the viewers knew he was on TV...

They ****ing wrecked just as many games as these guys are. People are just wanting to lynch mob these guys because the talking heads on ESPN are telling them too...

Games are lasting 4-4.5 hours with the replacements, and you're sick of the regulars? :spock:

Be honest. Are you Roger Goodell?

no one's talking about all the $$$ Roger's refs made Vegas last night. just the way Roger, Vegas, and the owners want it to be. We're getting trolled hard, and we'll all continue to support the league $$$ anyway, and they know it.

just like after the tuck rule, Polomalus's overturned INT against Indy when he rolled over twice, got up and started running, and the Ed Hoculi game. We're puppets on the strings of Roger Goodell's tennis shoe.

I know you're intent on ignoring the obvious, but I'll say it again: The NFL has never had a week of poor officiating like they had this past weekend. It has never happened before. You're cherry picking some games over a timeline of a decade or more.

how does it feel being a puppet on the string of Roger Goodell's tennis shoe?

How does it feel to not understand how a sports book operates?

Yup. It's true that the regular refs have their fair share of questionable calls. But the frequency of questionable calls occurring this season is at least 3-4 times higher than "normal."

The CBS pregame show (iirc) last Sunday had a chart that showed that, on average, the games were 4 minutes longer than the same time period in 2011 (first two weeks). I was surprised because they seemed longer.

That may change with this last weekends' games, though.
