Anchorage is a bit of a mystery. We're scoring points and moving the ball, but our defense is getting pushed around a lot, and I think it's strong. We barely eked out a win over Seattle.

Why? If you come in late, you gotta take what you get & don't throw a fit.
That's what happens when you don't spend your money & carry half a roster.


Although I do admit being jealous of some of the other owners' joining in & getting better teams' than the one I did. It's all good.

I'm starting to get a little concerned. I hoped with 3 trades at least one of them would be an early in the round/er.

That #1 I have coming doesn't look like it'll be the top pick, damnit Rain Man! LMAO

My 3rd down % is still atrocious.

Was able to start to get some semblance of balance established though.

Whew Los Angeles you scared me a little this week. First team to move the ball on this defense though.

I didn't even realize I was playing you this week. I accidentally looked at the opponent for Independence and thought LA could handle Rancho Cucamonga so I didn't tune my game plan. Probably wouldn't have mattered, you're team is solid.

I note that RGIII had a good (not great) game in a losing effort.

yep... keep tweaking playcalling in order to *try* to max him out. we had the game somewhat in hand until a sack/strip was returned 78 yards for a TD. they hit the 2 pt conversion and we go from up 21-16 (with a likely 24-16, as I was driving and well within field goal range) to down 21-24. we tied it, but lost it with 5 seconds left to a FREAKING 54 YARD FIELD GOAL.

gah.

I'm 1-4... the odds of my salvaging the season are slim to none though. tough, close losses are doing me in (granted, there were a few blowouts thrown in there too)
