30 miles south of Arrowhead its rain and 32 degrees, some ice on surfaces, nothing to be too afraid of, Not sure what the hard roads are like.

There is more ice in my freezer than there is outside. Another overblown weather prediction by our weather people.

I'm about 30 miles NW of Arrowhead and it appears to be dry outside. There's some frost on the decks, but I don't see any ice on the trees. No, I'm not going outside to check. Old men with arthritis can just rely on the news crews.

It's definitely true to some extent, but if the options are to assume the worst and keep people safe at home vs. assume the best and have hundreds of car accidents, it's pretty easy to see what the right call is.

South KC metro, very thin layer of ice on my deck and front sidewalk. It looks like a little bit of a break on radar with more precipitation on the way. Not too bad so far.

Yeah, from what I can tell on local news and social media, it looks fine - but there are still some slick areas out there.

Of course, that means there will be asshats that think everything's fine and go barreling down the highway at 80 mph.

@glezak: Driveways, patios, and decks have ice. The roads are mostly just wet. Temps will rise to just above 32° which means icing wills stop by noon

What a brilliant way to bamboozle the NFL into letting us have a night game at Arrowhead for the playoffs.
