3 receivers worked well for Haley before.... And we'd have 1 #1, a #1.5 (maybe a 2 in Bowe), and then Baldwin rounding it up at #3. Probably a 2 at his best. I'm happy with that.

Ugh.

I hope it's to backup Hudson.

It would be a log jam at WR. We'd have 3 guys that wanna be #1's, none of which are prototypical slot guys.

There is no way Hudson will be ready to start week 1. Hudson needs to worry about learning the O & protection schemes before the Chiefs could even consider it. Starting a rook C on a short season is suicide.

He will open the year as the starter and hand over the reigns around week 9 or 10 as his weight drops.

watch

Its a good move, Hudson would have some difficulty if he was forced right into the starting lineup at center with little practice time and having been a left guard in college.

But what if Jones sucks in week 1?

Sure does.

This should also mean the end of Rudy Nicecock.

Its a great move. Its the perfect scenario for Hudson. It couldn't be more fitting.

Probably not at first, but I bet Hudson will be the starting center by week 8, maybe week 10.

Just about the time old Casey is running out of gas. Perfect.

I disagree. Casey is not going to lose his job unless it's to injury and the rook has a helluva stint while casey is out. They are not going to stop mid season and switch Centers just because Casey lost weight.
