I harvested some garlic scapes today, so maybe something with those.

Horrible photo but the wife took some of our asparagus from the garden and made a quiche this weekend.

I was in Temple the last two weeks and ate at "Fat Boys" BBQ, well, more than once. It was nice seeing all the trophies. And the three trophies from the American Royal helped.

It was WAAAAAY awesome...

Wife grilled a pork tenderloin. Potato. Salad.

Glorious.

And it's delicious.

Flounder fillets with maybe some minced ginger and garlic, I haven't decided yet... if I go that route there will be very little of either spice, just enough for aroma.

On the side? I may have to cave into this "no carbs" craze tonight, not much else available on the quick besides some frozen broccoli and carrots, maybe a slice of bread to round things out.

Since it's a cool and rainy day I'm making chicken soup with rice. Lots of veggies with boneless/skinless chicken breast. It's cooking in the crock for the next 4 hours. I've made this recipe for at least 10 years and it's always really good.

Toasted whole wheat bread (homemade) will add to the dipping factor.

A Queso-rrito from Chipotle. Probably the biggest Burrito I have ever seen in my life.

Did you enjoy wrapping your mouth around it?
