Reminds me of a story. When I was in college, they installed field turf. I told my wife (girlfriend at the time) was stacking the shit on me thinking I was fast and shit, so I spouted off that if I started on the 50 and she started on the 40, I'd win. I was worried about it because she wasn't a slouch, but I was confident. We took off and I obliterated her. Crushed her.

She said she heard the footsteps and was afraid I'd run over her so she wanted to go again. Alright, I'm good for 2. We took off and I jacked my hamstring and literally fell on my face because my leg was unavailable for a stride. Fortunately, the field turf was soft and all that hurt was my busted wheel.

That was an expensive race.
