FML. What this franchise needs is consistency in management/coaching. Not upheaval and uncertainty.

"Our 2-2 record will not be tolerated!!"

Lets give them the benefit of the doubt. Dorsey is not stupid. Deficiencies will be addressed whether that be the qb, coaching, etc.

Yeah! Let's wait until year 4 to make judgement!

The argument isnt "OMG this is just as bad as the Pioli era"

The argument is that Smith appears to have truly maxed out, we can talk about his positives but they do not negate the fact that he is a limited player... and its not just the below average arm, its his striking ability to consistently miss wide open receivers or take off running without keeping his eyes downfield, among other things

No, this isnt a Cassel situation, I applaud Smith for his role in helping bring back a winning vibe... 3 straight winning seasons, 2 playoff appearances and a long overdue playoff win

We needed to hit all of those milestones to grow as a team, and I honestly thank him for being here to help make it happen... but he has quite simply peaked, we're not going much, if any, further with him

Defenses DO NOT fear the guy, his limitations are too glaring

Totally agree. So let's focus on the limitations/problems of Smith then. Instead there is a gaggle of posters painting the whole organization with a wide brush, citing "missed draft picks" from years ago, bitching about coaching, and generally portraying everyone else's grass as greener.

34 wins, 21 losses to date for the Dorsey/Reid regime including the first playoff win in over two decades. 5 successive Chiefs coaching regimes didn't sniff that, especially coming off a 2-14 season.

But let's continue to be envious of the Raiders and the Eagles.....

Instant gratification Planet

Yeah, starting in on Dorsey and picking apart his every choice is horseshit, and I wont be a part of it

Even the very best GMs miss a few now and then

Wow. Somebody is in your head.

I like America but I am not American. Does my conservative bias show? Perhaps, but you won't find me apologizing. Maybe when you grow a few more hairs on your scrotum your perspective will change.

BTW I do love God, but I can't help you with the whole game manager thing - not my call. We can do better at the position and we could also do a lot worse.

Good luck connecting with this Tom you seek.....

Even if there's not a shred of technical data that matches you with Tom's other accounts, dude....your posting style, conservative leanings and brain-dead Chiefs homerism are dead giveaways.

We know.

Hammock Parties 10-08-2016 06:48 PM

Alex Smith made every single one of these wide receivers less productive.

Michael Crabtree
Ted Ginn Jr.
Antonio Bryant
Braylon Edwards
Jeremy Maclin
Dwayne Bowe

First off you offend many by using the word "we".

Secondly, this is a Chiefs fan board. Calling me a homer does not offend, so pardon me if the shit you spew doesn't come with some retaliatory points from yours truly.

But thanks for complimenting me in that I have a posting "style" - makes me feel young again.

So you're old? Like Tom Cash. Case closed.
