I've played 1 and 2 multiple times. Did I enjoy 2 as much as 1? Of course not, but it's still better than 90% of games in the same genre.

Agree to disagree on this one. I'm not going to lose any sleep over people loving or hating it......but your hatred over this is already influencing others to consider dropping off, which is really silly.

At the end of the day, this is not the Godfather trilogy. As others have pointed out, it's a post-apocalyptic zombie story (where the story is about the people and not the zombies)

I saw the blogs after playing Pt 2.........and it's painfully obvious a huge chunk of the hate is related to gay characters.

If that's your thing - cool.

I enjoyed Pt 2 - and that doesnt make me right or wrong - it's art, and art is subjective.

The first season was quite possibly the most overrated show is recent memory.

There was absolutely not one single element of it that hadnt been done before and better...even the first few seasons of Walking Dead were better.

The lead actress is not only unattractive but not really even very talented...the other guy was really bad in Gladiator2.

I tried watching the first episode of season 2 and didn't make it past the first scene of the five people standing in a park. They had every race represented in that group and the dialogue was stiff...it was a total DEI fail that felt fake.

I'm trying to figure out what the appeal is other than to fans of the video game...as an impartial viewer, i'll be sitting season two out...was indifferent to season one. I'll spare myself the ugly "inclusive" lesbian scenes...

Bizarre amount of hate in this thread for what has been a good show so far with some top tier episodes (S1E3, S1E9 and S2E2 stand out prominently).

I’ll keep enjoying it myself for now and I can’t say I really give a shit what Bella Ramsay looks like.

As I stated before, most movie or tv show adaptations of video games are unpolished turds

Its nice to watch something where they’ve gotten everything right as it relates to the experience of playing the game.

Now, if they ever do the same for Bioshock, I can leave this earth happy!

I have not seen the rest of season 2. They very well could complete the hail mary and make it work but I have always been against purists when it comes to movies having to match the book verbatim. Especially the sequels. Just make a good movie or show and don't tank your show to be "pure" the the story.

I cant speak to who you were quoting but I watch because everyone tells me it is the best tv program ever created. Many times they are right, like Breaking Bad. I just feel this show is just overrated compared to the attention it gets. Zombie shows are so played out.
