That’s because Spags has been blitzing like crazy. This team sucks with a 4 man rush. Blitzing is great in small doses or against bad QBs but not against the best.

It's especially problematic come the post-season when teams can/will specifically gameplan towards your tendencies and unleash shit they've been holding in reserve on you.

You think some team that plays us in the postseason won't have some arrow route dialed up on 3rd and 8 to kill us over the middle? Won't have hot routes in place for when Sneed blitzes?

Blitzing is fine in the regular season. In the post-season when it's win or go home and teams aren't working as much on refining THEIR stuff as they are attacking YOUR stuff, all those tricks you had to pull to get pressure in the regular season just aren't going to work as well.

There will be answers. And we aren't gonna like 'em.

I would bet that tweet has nothing related to the Chiefs and probably more so the amount of trades happening.

Thankfully, we'll be able to add a RT with that 30th pick though amirite!!

I'm starting to think Shaun "Nuthammer" Smith doesn't have the inside track to the Chiefs front office.

Does he mean Sheesh as in Sheesh or something else? It could be a coded message!

The Chiefs are trying to trade him. They've decided to be sellers instead of buyers.

If you can't get a decent draft choice at 30 or 31 you might as well just sell the farm! amiright?

I understand he plays in Denver, but he's pretty good man.

He’s missed the season in 2/4 seasons before this contract year.

Worked out well for the Vikes and Zdarius right?

Gotta figure a 'big' push is something akin to the Clark trade.

If it happens, they'd better by god be !@#$ing right.

If that move doesn't scare you, you aren't paying attention. Edge rushers that plateau early rarely find another gear. Allen just doesn't seem to be someone who's moved beyond what he was in college - a guy who beats you on physical tools rather than technique. And if the tools don't dominate, he can get lost in the game pretty easily.

He just hasn't polished up his rough edges at all. He's surprisingly green for a guy who's been in the league 3+ years now.

He'd be as exciting a pure defensive talent as we've seen on this team in a loooooong time. Maybe since DT. But the production just hasn't matched the tools. There's a non-zero chance it just never will.

Smith was a free agent. Not a trade.

How much draft capital did the Vikes put into him?

You realize the difference between a trade and a free agency signing, right?
