You know what's not a good sign? Having an Urban Meyer QB under center and a receiver who played in the option offense and expecting both of them to take you to the promise land, boy genius. |
Quote:
Yeah because Urban Meyer has such a looooonnnnnggggg history of cranking out busts in the NFL. One QB failing is not enough evidence to prove that all QB's who were coached by Urban Meyer will bust. Demaryius Thomas didn't go to GT to play in the option offense. Chan Gailey left GT after Demaryius got there and he was stuck in that offense. Like Josh McDaniels said, when you are evaluating, you have to make sure you are evaluating the player not the coordinator. |
And another thing on Demaryius Thomas... If you would have put him in the same offense that Michael Crabtree and Dez Bryant played in he would have been a surefire top 10 pick. Before he injured his foot preparing for the combine Demaryius was running confirmed 4.3 40's.
Russ Lande said in Sporting News after the draft that Denver got one of the 5 best players in the draft and said he was the AFCW draft day steal. |

You are such a tool |

Rightttttttttt. The fact remains that Thomas played in an option offense that didn't require great routes except for the occasional fly pattern. He's a project. The fact that you reached for 2 projects in the first round is hilarious. |
Quote:
How do you confirm his 40 time when he's working out? It's all speculative. There is no confirmation on things like that, boy genius. All I know is, 2 years ago, you were pimping Cutler non-stop on this board. If you would have told me that McDaniels was going to run out both Cutler and Marshall in just 2 seasons time, I would have helped pay for some of his Bronco salary. |

Seriously, TBG...I don't know why you even try. You would have had a better chance of talking Koresh's followers out of Waco than you have of getting KnowNothing to actually use logic and common sense. There isn't an orifice in his body that isn't currently being plugged by McFail, Teblow, the founder of Twitter, or Ryan Clady.
