I don't think it's the worst idea... but the odds are high you're basically sacrificing in front of the pitcher's spot. Dyson is just as likely to hit one of those choppers he usually beats out.

Bunting for a base hit would have been a fine approach. Shit, it's basically that or tell Dyson's weak ass not to swing.
