Yeah I think SW Iowa and maybe Des Moines are going to get it tonight.

Glad I have a whole house generator and an HD antenna so I don't have tho stream or rely on a cable provider!

How about a fly over with a 747 spraying deicer!!!!!

I think they definitely erred on the side of caution with this storm, especially considering how the last ice storm a few weeks ago caught literally the entire region off guard and shut down every major highway in Missouri for hours on end.

Sack up, you pussies. The Chiefs got this.

Time to go de-ice the Lesbo Mobile. Got my game face on.

Funny thing is that all of the schools in southwest Missouri got duped into cancelling classes for Friday based on a wrong forecast. They all had cancelled by 9:00 on Thursday night when it was still 40 degrees. I thought that they were being domb then. I woke up the next morning to a tiny bit of ice on my back deck and absolutely nothing on the road. What little there was on my deck was soon gone too. The school administrators blew it. I hope that they learn from this and don't jump the gun next time.

NFL wanted to move this to SUN NIght for ratings purposes, and got the excuse they wanted. Now Chiefs fans have to deal with a nightmare tonight, freezing rain all game and dark icy roads leaving.

I hope Goodell gets raped by a NYC bum tonight for this

Yeah - agreed - you really HAVE to when ice comes into play.

It is looking like that mess in Central KS is moving north. Sure 6 hours can make a difference. But if it move more north than East-the game should be ok.

What in the **** are you talking about? It's NOT going to be freezing rain all game and the roads will NOT be icy going home.

I "simply" do not understand this thinking. The WORST thing you can do with icy situations is move the traffic jams to the evening. It's a terrible, terrible idea. If the roads were going to be icy at 12pm, they were damn sure to be icy at 11pm, so WTF did they move it?

Delaying to Monday Night makes sense. But not shifting it back. This was a stupid idea from the get go

They had to cancel. NWS issued the ice warning effective 6am Friday Thursday afternoon. They'd have been strung up and quartered if they hadn't cancelled and ice moved in
