If the people here would rather watch a worthless preseason game where the starters play 1 meaningless series instead of seeing the best record in MLB on a perfect night outside.....then I stand by my point: not a baseball town.

If nothing else, this is a savvy PR move for them, as some Boston Globe columnist is bound to pick up on this and point to it as evidence that these guys have a real thirst for the game.

And yes, they did treat themselves to some giant hot dogs.
