I mentioned 10 cent apps because they've done it before.

I mentioned free apps because they are available if you know where to look.

Where is that?

I have a note 2. My notification settings doesn't allow for me to have a noise alert for texts while disabling noise alerts for emails. Is there an app that will fix that?

I'm not sure why it took me until now to find this thing, but man it's cool. I've got it set to make sure WiFi is turned on when I get back home and that the volume's cranked so I don't miss calls, automatically start my music when I plug it into my car in the morning, and vibrate when I get to work, and that's after just messing with it for a couple hours. Friggen cool app.

It's always the first app I recommend to anyone who I know is willing to tweak a bit. Big payoff.

Don't know if anyone has posted this, but I thought it looked pretty cool.

Anyone know of a good app for blocking calls/texts from specific numbers?

Depending on how old your phone is, you can send calls straight to Voicemail without any extras. Make sure the number is added as a contact, then go to edit the contact, pull up the menu, and select "all calls to voicemail."

Not sure about text blocking though. Here's an app that does both (and more) that appears to be well-reviewed, but I haven't used it personally.

I log onto my provider's website and enter the number. Stops it forever.

I did that for an ex girlfriend once. Cost 5 bucks a month though with ATT.

on mine, you can longpress any entry in the call log and add it to a reject list, doesn't matter if its added as a contact
you can even reject all calls containing or starting with any numbers you choose

New Tapatalk beta for tablets is out. So far, I like it a lot.
