Well, he just drafted him again, so he better be right.

It's crazy to think that this will be one of the defining moves of the Pioli tenure, and we haven't played a game yet.

What do you mean?

You saying Carl would have given up the first? I agree with that.

Hey douchebag.

Look at the FIRST ****ing play in YOUR posted link.

wild1 02-28-2009 08:18 PM

even if Cassel is not your preferred QB, the fact that we get to start developing a young QB with a second round pick instead of a top 3 pick in the first round is very tantalizing.

the trade is great value. i think of the 'value' mindset of new england - not always the high priced free agents, not the star studded lineups at times, but continue trying to get value from every move instead of making a few huge moves

You're absolutely right. There's one. Backed up in the end zone. Against that awesome Chiefs Defense.

Watch the plays. In most of those clips the DE's are rounding the tackles like turnstiles. I don't think there was much choice in the matter, regardless of the QB.

Also, watch again, there are several plays under center, especially in the middle of the clip.

Who ****ing cares how many plays he took under center anyway? This board harps on that shit more than anything I have ever seen. Fact is, Haley's offense is run out of the shotgun a lot anyway, much like the Patriots. This isn't some groundbreaking thing either. The Broncos ran a lot of shotgun last year with Cutler and the Saints run a lot of shotgun with the Saints. This under center obsession is blown out of proportion on this board.

And so it begins. Moving on to the arm now.
