The free agent market is crazy this year. Too many salary points chasing too little talent.

In retrospect...would you have gone with a lower total than $1300?

I would have liked a little more. I resigned only my own guys and ended up almost $50 over. I still had to make hard choices at the end. I don't know what some of these teams did with their own players to have $800 to blow on free agents.

This, I thought I went light on contracts. I think these teams have a bunch of players on one year contacts.

But, of course, I do have the best quarter back in the Sandbox and while he deserves every penny - qbs ain't cheap.

I have a lot of old players. Keeps the contracts down.

I don't have a bid in either league, and probably won't....can't afford anyone worthwhile in L1, and don't have anyone in L2 (oustide of a couple who have insane bids that I can't afford either with my $80 remaining) that can really improve what I already have.

Not sure if this was covered, but what happens in a situation like this...

Richmond has a pool of $367, and has a bid of $365 on Sherman. They also have a bid of $25 on Mike Adams. and $5 on another player, and all of them are within 30 seconds on the countdown, and the #5 one with the least time. If the $5 or $25 ones goe through, he doesn't have enough for Sherman bid...does it go to the next highest bid? What if their money is gone elsewhere because they were outbid?

I think the money shown in the "standings" section accounts for what you have bid. That is to say, Richmond currently has $367 IN ADDITION TO all outstanding bids.

You can't bid more money than you have to spend.

Richmond has 4 bids in now with plenty of money still to spend.

Ah, didn't realize they had all of that in addition to the rest. Gat'Damn...they had a lot of money to spend.
