I'm telling you, the cubs remind me SO much of the Royals. Smart, heady, hustle and take advantage of the situation.

I'm rooting for them.

I want me a Javier Baez

It may not be in this series, but it's very hard to see the Cubs winning it all with absolutely jack shit from Rizzo or Russell

I can't believe this is their game 1 starter. Maeda looks like a batting practice pitcher.

It's so scary how good they are without all of their guns firing.

KCUnited 10-15-2016 07:45 PM

These guys aren't even in series and I had a homeless guy shit talk me today for my KC hat. A ****ing homeless guy. I didn't even hear his mumbling ass and was like 'oh hey what's up man, good to see ya'. My wife was like he was shit talking your hat.

They do look like it's their time though.

Ethier might look good in RF/DH if the Dodgers would eat some salary

Baez like a sloth up there and an already slow moving game has ground to a halt.

Baez (Cubs) looked like he was talking into a giant Bluetooth.

Don't know if Maddon is overmanaging or not..... removed Lester.

Giant contracts weird ass manager. That is a big difference. No one reminds me of the Royals cause the Royals are so god damn fast.

On one hand, Lester was doing decently, homerun notwithstanding. On the other hand, he wasn't effective as the game went on and the Dodgers were getting a little more crisper on their hits against him.

Plus, runs are a premium in the playoffs.

Lester was not fooling anyone tonight. Its ironic that a lazy fly ball makes it over the fence when Fowler has been diving all over the outfield, Bryant and Russell relaced their gloves after catching line drive rockets, Rizzo diving for stops at 1st, and Zobrist throwing out a runner at the plate after the pitcher hit the ball hard through the hole.
