Are they really? I don't go to them as I don't gamble. The bars & restaurants at the ones over in Counciltucky are pretty reasonable, I don't know about the rooms though. It's always been my understanding that they figure they'll get the money out of you from the gambling.

I almost commented something about guys being swell around a drunk chick.

I was thinking somewhere more sport minded, seeing as we're watching the draft, too.

They are not too cheap in Topeka so I can't imagine KC being much better. However, I have never stayed in one of their hotels so I don't know. I don't gamble either but it is sure fun to watch other throw their money away.

The casinos here have sports bars in them. With a giant wall of TVs. Maybe they're different in KC, who knows. I'm certainly not interested in gambling. My main concern is not having to drive after boozing.

Well then joie may not be the one for you. There was this one time that she was drinking tequila and woke up UNDER the fitted sheet.:shake:

As is mine. I actually really like the idea. I'll have to do some research to see how much a weekend deal would be. I'm probaly staying up there two nights instead of just one. I love to watch other people at the tables. I like to see how people bet and bluff.

Sound like me. One New Years, I woke up with the knees of my jeans torn and my knees scraped up. I was more than a little worried. A friend told me I had fallen down while walking across some gravel. I was so relieved.
