I agree with the A-. It was by far one of the least messy series finales I have ever seen, and did a wonderful job of not leaving a ton of things unanswered... while still keeping people wanting more. Overall, the series is one of the best I have ever seen, for its genre and for TV altogether.

Perhaps they'll show up next year riding flying motorcycles. :D

Starring Adama with a white beard and Hera all grown up in the Boxey role.

keg in kc 03-27-2009 02:15 PM

You know, grown-up Hera would probably be pretty hot, being half Grace Park.

Who would be Doctor Zee?

Frazod 03-27-2009 02:20 PM

Mercifully, I've forgotten who Dr. Z was.

Buck 03-27-2009 03:16 PM

That wouldn't be very interesting.

You'd just see them living in a pretty primitive state.

I'd settle for a show showing what happened to the Centurions over the span of 150,000 years.

That, or a show explaining the Head Six/Head Baltar beings, along with Starbuck, and why Anders said "See you on the other side" when she left.

See, there is so much material that this does not have to be the end. Sci-Fi should stop making their crappy TV movies and get to work.

I think Anders said "see you on the other side" because he knew he'd be dead in a few minutes and that she was already dead.

It could be pretty interesting to do something set in the present day. Maybe the Centurions come back, or they've evolved into human-form. Or Voyager II spots Adama's Raptor floating in space out past the orbit of Pluto.

That was my take.

But a single base star filled with Centurions roaming the galaxy exploring their new found freedom and meeting exciting aliens would be great!

Kind of Lexx does Farscape with robots kinda thing.

OK, but HOW did he know she was dead? Leoben didn't know, that's why he freaked out when he saw her corpse on the first Earth. And what other side were they going to meet on? The same place where Head Six and Baltar reside? (Also, I'd like to explore the statement "It doesn't like it when you call him God" thing)

OK, I know I'm reaching here. Obviously, I'm having a hard time coming to grips that the show is over. :)
