Kyle Zimmer left his start tonight after one inning. Was scheduled to go three.

ChiSux just got screwed on catchers interference that wasn't called which would've ended the Astros half of the inning. Evan Gattis proceeded to hit a 2 run bomb during the next AB LMAO.

Their bullpen is coming back to earth. Albers has taken the loss in his last 3 appearances. I have Sat/Sun tix, will be my first games of the year.

Time to move on? He hasn't been healthy in 5 years.

at this point, I'd be ecstatic with him just getting here as a Reliever.

siberian khatru 05-18-2016 09:48 AM

My #hottake is: I wonder just how injured he really is. I wonder if there's a mental aspect involved, that he can't push himself through discomfort. At this point I'm of half a mind to just keep putting him out there to see if he really, truly breaks, just so we can reach some finality on it.

That's mostly frustration talking, but still ...

Let's sweep today, boys!

duncan_idaho 05-18-2016 11:09 AM

Zimmer is Just the most frustrating prospect I've followed at this point. And a great example why a shoulder injury is worse by far than anything else for a pitcher.

He and Starling are a painful pair of back-to-back whiffs by the scouting department, especially considering Starling could have been Rendon, Lindor, Speinger, Jose Fernandez, or Sonnny Gray.

I'll be at one game this weekend at least in that shit hole. Out of all the places I've seen the Royals play away from Kauffman, US Cellular is by far my least-favorite place to go. Terrible park, scumbag fans, shitty area. I like to think of them as the Raiders of the MLB.

Ha, I've never had a problem inside the stadium outside of some friendly back and forth, riding the red line back into the city after a game can get a bit dicey though. I have a group of friends coming into town from KC for the series so hopefully its a good time for everyone.

I bought the tix through the White Sox and they sent me a survey and I blasted their stadium, wished a graphic death upon Adam Eaton in the "how can we improve" comment box and they sent me 2 free tickets to any game the remainder of the season. Kind of funny.
