Watching Darnold's pro day workout & Mayock breaks out a Mahomes story about at his pro day he threw it 80-85 yards across his body. He said he was surrounded by 7-8 scout's with 30+ years experience & none had seen anything like it.

Draft Analyst's Tony Pauline passes along that Texas Tech QB Nic Shimonek "show[ed] arm strength and decent accuracy" during Friday's pro day.
"The feeling leaving the workout was that Shimonek has a real chance to develop into a backup at the next level," Pauline writes. He notes that the 6-foot-3, 220-pounder really let loose his arm at the end of the workout, uncorking a pair of 75-yard passes. Shimonek profiles as a potential late-round project or undrafted free agent for next month. There’s Pats new backup. |

Shim is deathly afraid of throwing picks to the point he hangs onto the ball in critical situations instead of trying to make a play. Or chicken out and throw it way past the back of the end zone on 4th and goal with the game on the line... https://youtu.be/H1Mjn9wQQ6I?t=2m57s |
Not that anyone cares in particular, but my QB rankings as of right now:
1. Rosen 2. Darnold 3. Mayfield 4. Jackson 5. Allen I think Jackson could be decent if the right coach gets ahold of him but it’s going to take a perfect situation. I don’t have high expectations for Allen at all wherever he goes. |
1. Darnold
2. Rosen 3. Allen 4. Mayfield 5. Jackson I feel like even with Allen’s flaws, his ceiling is significantly higher than Mayfield and his attitude and ability to take coaching makes him better. |
I just listened to the latest PFF podcast which can be found here https://www.profootballfocus.com/podcasts
There's a big section towards the beginning about predictors of NFL performance for this crop of QBs and it was a pretty interesting listen. |

The only thing I’m near 100% sure on at this time is that Rosen is my QB1. |
Just me, but I think Rosen will bust.
There is something about his attitude/demeanour that totally annoys me. I’m not sure he cares all that much about football. He is entitled and his ego will get challenged in an NFL locker room. He throws a great ball, is polished, but has a thin frame that might not hold up well to the physical rigor. I think Darnold and Mayfield will have the longest shelf life out of this crop. |

Speaking of being a douche, Baker Mayfield already has a documentary of his draft experience that he’s promoting. I’m so glad Pat isn’t like that. He seems way more focused and down to business. |

I'm not THAT concerned with his attitude. There's been rumblings in Green Bay that Rodgers' teammates don't really like him, but they still win when he's in there. |
There was a video from the other day with Rosen working with Rodgers that kinda changed my tune on him. He seemed genuinely interested in learning. Wasn’t afraid to ask questions, no matter how simple or complex they were.
I think he’s probably pretty cocky and maybe even a dick, but I think it’ll translate fine if he’s willing to work hard. If he isn’t interested in burying himself in his playbook and game tape, he will bust. But if he does put in the time, I think he’ll be a very good to great QB. |
Mayfield is going to torch out SO hard, you could use his career to light aircraft carrier runways.

Rosen's biggest red flag is his injury history. |
Yeah, I like Rosen and Mayfield.
I kind of want my QB to be a badass and competitive. |
