Open warrant for Von Miller's arrest in Cali.

The Denver Post reports there is an open warrant out for suspended Broncos SLB Von Miller in California.
The warrant is for Miller's failure to appear for a traffic ticket issued last year. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell's hands may be tied when it comes to traffic citations, but arrest warrants could be another matter entirely. We're almost expecting Goodell to add to Miller's six-game suspension at this point. The NFL wanted a longer ban before that disciplined was handed down.

JFC, if you were any more of a homer you'd be ****ing a girl named Marge and working at a nuclear power plant.

It never fails to amaze me when stories like this happen that these guys can be so clueless with so much on the line.

They are used to getting away with everything until they get to the NFL.

Mix being spoiled with having the IQ of whale shit and you get Von Miller.

he's the next DT ya know.

Local beat writers are now saying that the report was wrong and that the ticket was paid. May be a non-story (aside from the fact that he has a lead foot).

He is probably about as responsible. DT wasn't a great person. He is fun to play with on Madden 25's, but he was an asshole too in reality.

Funny how PFT gets the story out that Von is facing an arrest warrant within 30 minutes of the "news" breaking, but 10 hours after the report is proven to be false there is still no story on PFT mentioning it.

I hate how the media only gravitates toward negative stories.

Full Statement to me from Von Miller's attorney Mark Schamel: "Von Miller is a wonderful young man who was stopped 18 months ago for speeding on a highway. He was ticketed for driving 10 miles per hour over the posted speed limit. There is nothing more to it than that. The speeding ticket is a simple infraction for which arrest is not authorized. This is not a criminal case and we have confirmed that there is no warrant for his arrest. This is much ado about nothing and it should be cleared up tomorrow morning."

A bit of coin made it go away just like many things in history including the Dummyville shit last year. What a joke.

Broncos' Von Miller has open warrant for arrest in California
By Ryan Parker
The Denver Post
POSTED: 09/11/2013 08:01:33 PM MDT

Susan Schroeder, spokeswoman for the Orange County District Attorney's Office confirmed to The Denver Post that Miller has a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic ticket issued last year.

It is unclear what effect this will have if Miller travels to California when the team plays either the Raiders or Chargers, as Schroeder said the warrant pertains to the entire state.

The outstanding California warrant was first reported by CBS 11 television in Dallas.

Miller is currently facing multiple legal issues in Colorado and was arrest last month on a failure-to-appear warrant here when he tried to buy a gun.

In addition, Miller was cited once again last Thursday by Arapahoe County authorities for speeding and driving without license.

In addition to his legal problems, Miller is currently serving a six game suspension for violating the league's drug policy.

"We are looking into the report," Patrick Smyth, Broncos spokesman told The Denver Post.

Miller's agent, Joby Branion, told The Post, "There is no arrest warrant," but did not want to elaborate on the record.
