The Seahawks drafted Rodgers. Try again.

I really like both of these draft classes.
Buffalo: Tavon Austin Mike Glennon Stedman Bailey Kevin Riddick Sean Renfree Earl Wolff Atlanta Desmond Trufant Kevin Minter Tyler Wilson Micah Hyde Denard Robinson Kenjon Barner Khaled Holmes Braxston Cave Levine Troilolo Wes Horton Jake Knott |
I'm not sure I'm burning a 3rd on Tyler Wilson if I'm Atlanta, personally.
I also would have probably tried to target a DE/OLB early as well. Other than that though, its not bad. |
Just for grins, here's how I drafted for the Falcons in the Alt draft:
Atlanta Falcons: 1.30 Alex Okafor, DE, Texas 2.60 Gavin Escobar, TE, San Diego State 3.92 Sylvester Williams, DT, North Carolina 4.128 Brian Winter, OG/OT, Kent State 4.134 Marquise Goodwin, WR, Texas 5.163 D.J. Hayden,CB, University of Houston 6.198 Cornelius Washington, OLB, Georgia 7.236 Vintson Painter, OT, Va Tech 7.243 Jonathan Stewart, ILB, Texas A&M 7.244 Latavius Murray, RB, UCF 7.249 Brandon Magee, OLB, Arizona State |

As for DE, I made a decision going in that we would probably take advantage of the buyers market for the position in FA. I gambled correctly with them getting Osi and still being interested in others including bringing Abraham back. |
Atlanta didn't let Daniels walk. The Saints did.

Alright, SNR.
The Chiefs have dealt Albert all but officially for, let's say, Miami's 2b pick. Who do you draft at 2b, and do you change your pick at 1.1? |
My picks, in SNR's place:
1. Joeckel 2. Minter 3a. Dobson 3b. Brandon Williams 4. Jenkins 5. Josh Evans 6a. Gragg 6b. Dennis Johnson 7. Jake Knott |
1. Geno
2. Minter 3a. Terrance Williams 3b. Brandon Williams 4. Reid Fragel 5. Chase Thomas 6a. Cooper Taylor 6b. Rodney Smith 7. Mike Catapano |

Geno stays at #1. Best Player Available, Direckshun. Best. Player. Available. After that, I'd go 2. Kyle Long 3a. Jon Bostic 3b. Brandon Williams 4. I'd try to trade down with this pick. I still love John Simon, but I'm the only guy in the universe who does, apparently. I'd see if I can get him later in the 4th in a trade down And the rest of my draft I'll leave as is. I'm satisfied with it. Leaves us mighty thin at offensive line. But that's exactly what a BPA strategy gets you sometimes if it's followed to a tee. Now, if Dorsey perhaps is stretching the truth a bit and DOES take need into account.... |
