On second thought, for the love of whatever God you worship, don't answer that.

Why does the nfl need to make up external events to make a game more interesting? Why are stars always pseudo busted for something after big wins ?
Even when I thought it was legit ,I thought it was odd that people were getting on Favre's case for still playing.
I realized that people were just repeating what media said.
He's a jock, he wanted to play so he didn't retire, big deal, who cares? But all the sudden there's nothing but negative writing about him.
Favre- dude,it's so sad,he's so selfish, he should just retire a Packers and not hurt his legacy bla bla.....he goes to a major media city team so the nfl can cash in on that and then almost takes Vikings to the promise land.
Oh wait, before you leave we gotta make sure we throw in a D__k picks sent to a girl controversy. All of that added to a bullshit story that him and Rodgers don't like each other. You can't prove any of the above is true.
Manning- it's so sad, he should retire,he's Messing up his legacy.
Johnny Fan boy says= it's sad man,it's obvious he can't play that we'll anymore. He should just retire bro .....meanwhile,he just keeps climbing right along and somehow just somehow he's a miracle SB.
But while we're at it,let's add an hgh and messing with a trainer story......
The leading man formula stories are too similar and keep happening. I guess the nfl is just so lucky that their best players get pseudo busted for this or that drama on the way out....?

Rodgers hates Favre..number 8,what's his face? Hates Montana..kobe hates Shaq..? All go on to win a Championship because you are supposed to believe they are just so driven and these franchises that just always win were so lucky to find lightening in a bottle again..?
Bullcrap, none of the players hated each other. They just played the part they were told to.
If it's all real, there's no way the Lakers split up Shaq and Kobe.
They'd have the dreaded meeting and tell them you are the 2 best players in the league and we have a hell of a better chance to win with the both of you. Kiss and make up and make your millions for doing something as stupid as dribbling a ball and shut up.
...but life is magical and both are so damn good they end up winning a championship on separate teams...bullshit,man,bullshit
(I'm pretty sure Shaq won with Heat but who cares if he didn't because the story line still got them to the finals )
The point is things are too perfect and too seemless and always work out in sports world.

From everything you spewed here it seems like the NFL would have LOVED to see Favre get a ring while in NY. Why on earth didn't they get that done? Damn, they ****ed up the story line I guess.

see? thats how one dimensional you are. The fact is they still sent one of the current most popular players to a major media locale and made money off that.
they teased and pulled the public in twice with NY and Minn.
And the Jets still made the playoffs =objective met for playoff profit and Favre drama.
{can Favre win one before he retires or do the Saints help Orleans forget about Katrina? stay tuned for the next exciting episode of 'As the nfl Turns'}

see? all you do is deflect. I give incredibly detailed coincidence and similarities and the only thing you can do is say "well,he didnt win the SB so theres that" :)

people say the Jets suck but they really dont. Theyve had to lay low between 2011=15 but had plenty of good playoff run between 98 and 2010.

the other funny thing is the Jets and Giants seem to do well when the other one doesnt, but nooo, nope it just doesnt click at the same time?
either way the City of NY always wins and has a dog in the fight for the fans.

in relation to your thought of Brett and the Jets not making it: it looks like the Jets and KC were given the Christmas bonus for the nfl merger to give the AFC rep but had to sit down and wait ever since then.

The Jets are still serving penance for the SBIII victory.

You know...the one Drunk Joe Namath 'guaranteed' a Jets victory in; the same one Bubba Smith has emphatically stated, on the record, in his own biography, was absolutely rigged.

Of course, Baltimore coach Don Shula then gets to go to South Beach and have the most wins for a head coach ever and have the NFL's only perfect team...

ROFL it's too perfect

but only because they were an expansion team after the merger.
but having gotten the perfect season meant they, like the Jets had to take a back seat. But who cares since they host the SB every now and again.

You don't know how right you are with this ^

The only time KC was really actually a contender was when Joe Montana was here. We made it to the AFC Championship Game. And haven't truly been relevant since.

The Jets went to the AFC Championship Game a couple times recently too - once again, another 'retiring legend', this time Bill Parcells, gets to take the Jets as far as they're allowed to go. Somehow Rex Ryan rode that defense to a couple Championship game appearances, but he's been exiled to Siberia now...

Point is, neither team has made it beyond the Championship game since the merger. For a reason.

Nicknamed "Captain Comeback" for his knack for sparking rallies, Harbaugh was nimble enough to buy time against pass rushes. He also endured 361 sacks in 14 seasons with five teams.

I just put him for giggles but he was being touted in a espn top ten with a cool nickname and a 14 year career.

Pitt Man what made you move to Salem?

I have a job offer in Portland but I'm not sure if I want to take it

A couple personal reasons beyond my control. Don't really want to divulge. Salem is like an hour from Portland and I still haven't been yet. Where are you from? It rains all the time here.
Salem is starting to grow a little bit since Portland is getting a tad more expensive which eventually does that to everything.
My 4 month first impressions aren't too good yet. I'm alone aside from my sister and mom . Saturdays aren't any different from a Tuesday yet.
