Not sure I understand the question. Draft picks won't ask for money for a few years. But generally I think the chiefs are in a place where getting 1-2 cheap years with the back end of the contract for someone who's immediately ready (and a known commodity) is just as good as a rookie you often have to wait 1-2 years to develop.

Zero Hour, time to look forward to Frank Clarks return

Ken Bone 11-01-2022 01:54 PM

I hope Jacksonville loses every game for the next 20 years!

We've got all of our picks though.

That might be a good thing. Perhaps there is nothing out there worth the cost. Him not getting into a FOMO mentality is good for KC.

Yeah, it's just that Veach always does something before the deadline. Feels odd he didn't this time around. I guess Andy/Veach feel good standing pat.

I meant to say trade. The rest of my question is the same. I corrected the original post.

THIS woulda been a nice surprise:

Calvin Ridley to the Jacksonville Jaguars, sources confirmed to ESPN on Tuesday. In exchange, the Falcons would receive a 2023 fifth-round pick and a conditional fourth-round selection.

Ken Bone 11-01-2022 01:55 PM

Get ready for us to draft a broke dick LT who can't stay healthy with our 2023 1st round pick.

They’ll come close to it as long as they have Lawrence.
