That's what I think is so funny about all these guys saying they watch every college game, every NFL game, break down tape - for free! If that is true, they are the most pathetic people in the world.

I can see them - sitting in their basements - a dozen TVs, coffee pot, mt. dew, no doz and 2 liter bottles to piss in so they won't miss a play.ROFL

Get a life, find some friends, or God forbid, go on a date!

Holy cow. I just showed up and saw this.

In most cases I would decry a trade such as this. It's essentially the Matt Schaub trade from last year.

However, the key difference is that Pioli knows these guys. He didn't just watch film, he saw them from an insider's perspective. If a two-time NFL Executive of the Year knows these guys from the inside and thinks it's a good trade, then I'll trust his judgment.

It's hard to compare it with the Schaub trade considering that Schaub had only started 2 or 3 games and the Texans gave up almost THREE TIMES as much in draft chart value to get him.

Honestly, if you compare this to the Schaub trade, we made out like highway bandits.

I didn't say we were going to make the playoffs.

But if they're going to trade picks for players, it's obvious they don't really want to "build" anything over time. They're going for instant impact.

So no excuses, COMPETE for a playoff spot.

We aren't going to the Super Bowl this year, but I don't doubt for a second that Pioli is aiming for a Miami or Atlanta-like turnaround. I'm not saying we're going 11-5, but these guys mean business, and they know things can be turned around quickly.

Especially considering how bad our division is.

All I know is that if Denver was willing to throw almost it's entire tackle box in to the lake to catch this fish; you can't feel too bad about it.

And this goes back to what I said before; it's panic-button BIG time over there. I like it.

New England must really hate us by now. LMAO

That's the kind of guy I want.

Check the stats. To say that Manning looked like money compared to Cassel in both of their 1st years starting is a complete fabrication.

I saw him play 4 years in college. At no time during his pro-career did I think he was going to bust.
