I don't either. We are stuck with him. |

Last, year it kind of seemed like he was sent down so he could get regular playing time. This year, because he just isn't getting it done. |
Front office will consider cutting Infante, Ned will fight it if Omar's play shows any signs.
Would also be interesting to see if they could do a bad contract swap. Send the Padres Infante + prospects for Kemp, who has more years and dollars left on his deal. If they agreed to tack on the salary relief the Dodgers shipped, you'd be looking at basically three years, $54 million for Kemp. His salary is almost nonexistent this year due to salary relief the Dodgers already sent. Not a slam dunk deal but interesting. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Ian was great today. That lineup is nasty.

Taking 2/3 from the BoSox is impressive.

It's early but we are at Daytons famed "quarter mark" which he says is the time to start evaluating. So let's evaluate Kendrys. He's been atrocious, one of the worst in MLB. His #s are even worse than his failed 2014 season. He is 33 already. What's the plan if he doesn't pick it up?
Jose Martinez was released and The Balbino isn't far behind as he's been shit at AAA. So there may be no options |

According to the guy on 810 at 1 today, KC needs to go get Josh Reddick for RF, Howie Kendrick for 2B, and a pitcher whose name I forgot (from Atlanta, I think), and get ready for another parade. However, they don't have the pieces for all of that, so only 2 may be possible.

I'd love to have Reddick. He's just a rental and making only $6.5M this year, so he'd fit in well. |
