Sorry to tell you this but literally nobody cares about the ways you think dodder needs to be fixed and none of your ideas that are lazy and people have had for decades will be given a single thought. Soccer is as good as it’s ever been. If you don’t like it then watch something else nobody gives a shit.

Soccer and their fans are annoying and pretentious.

Wonder if a more open game will allow our offense to click a little more and be more dynamic.

Imagine if football never started allowing the forward pass or if basketball never created a 3-point shot...

Shout out to all the people who watch soccer once every 4 years and during that time are laboring under the idea that anyone wants them to fix it. A thing that is already the most popular sport in the world and is not broken. 🤣

It clearly doesn't need to be "fixed," but I feel like shrinking the playing field in which you can be offsides would make things a bit more exciting and open it up for more attacking.

England are ALWAYS overrated. They're kind of the San Diego Chargers of international soccer (minus the injury thing). They are always ranked high and always picked to be awesome and they end up being consistently mediocre.

We scratched out a goal against Iran and Wales, but the Dutch have top class defenders and we have very little attacking threat. I wouldn’t bet on the US scoring against them. Hopefully I’m wrong and they pull what would be a shocking upset, but I’m not expecting anything.

Pulisic to the hospital with an abdominal injury, eh?

Well that's probably not great.

The game has actually changed a lot since then. IFAB publishes updates to the laws every year. There are changes every year. Sometimes just clarifying how the law is actually meant to be interpreted but often actual changes as well.

The ecstasy and the agony attached to the worlds game as it is right now is absolutely perfect. But keep spinning your wheels come back and see us in 2026 it will be the same and it will be amazing.

It would wreck the explosiveness of the game and it would turn into a stupid long ball contest. You'd get a forward or two camping out by the goal, which would then pull two defenders to the goal. That would happen on both sides and you'd get this massive emptied out field in between in which the need for speed and explosiveness in attack would be mitigated.

The only people in the world that think this particular aspect of the game needs changed are Americans that aren't regular viewers of the game.

RerunnedSeniorCitizen wasn’t picked for a game back when he was a kid and the soccer balls were leather and had stitches, he’s been mad ever since
