Would you say the 2020 season ended less painfully than 2021? I wouldn't. Hearing the Chiefs talk about, I think losing in the Superbowl hurt worse.

It does feel like the league would want the 9ers or the Eagles, or even Cowboys, to win this year – which will affect the refs they chose. I think they'd only want us to win over Detroit, because the league never misses a chance to shit on the Lions.

Losing any playoff game sucks just as bad if not worse. Losing to the Bengals was way worse than losing to the Bucs.

Though it IS true, when people talk about SB's, it's how many you won, not how many you played in. That's why people say Mahomes has 2 SB's...he's got 3, but he only won two of them.

Yep. I think it speaks to the hot take culture. The Super Bowl loser is instantly memed for whatever reason, almost as if it would be preferential to not even make it there; but that’s ignoring the fact that getting there is an accomplishment in itself.

Making it to the Super Bowl means you had a hell of a time as a fan right up until early February; whereas, losing in the Wild Card Round or whatever means you’re annoyed in early January instead lol
