The same thing happened to the Bengals this year. It took Burrow a few games to stop trying to force the ball downfield and take what the defense was giving.
They've both adjusted and become better QBs for it.

Yeah, it's what really separates the good from the great and it'll be interesting to see the cat and mouse games over the next several years (Reid can coach another 20 years, right?).
And it's why I just don't put much stock in flavors of the month like Tua/Tyreek/Waddle... do it in the playoffs, then once you're successful in the playoffs, do it when you have a huge target on your back. Then keep doing it.
