Pretty much. I'm not saying Quinn is going to play well enough to get a contract extension, but we're going to win some games now. As you mentioned, there's not a game left on our schedule that is not winnable because of this shit conference and the schedule is lighter. We wanted Cassel benched, but now, that may have cost us our pickings at QB in April. It's not our fault. His play speaked for itself, it was a matter of when, not if he was going to get benched.

Not saying there is any logic to this feeling, just knowing our luck as Chiefs' fans this team will win just enough games to put out of position (unless we trade up which has a snowball's chance in Hell) to draft an elite QB comming out this year.

I agree with others that the feeling of benching Cassel just isn't bringing me the joy I thought? May be the case I know Pioli is still the GM and I'm uncertain we will fire him. Figuring he will be back, we are depending on him to draft and get FA's again. On top of that he may be the one picking our new head coach after the season. Would Clark allow that? :-/
