how this guy even gets an on-air interview is beyond me.

this team is literally a train wreck. zero depth at any position with the exception of maybe DL?

the only starters worth a **** are Hudson, Charles, Bowe, Flowers, DJ, Hali, Albert....all Herm guys (sans Hudson)

*****s is ****ing god awful.

Yep, because you go into the draft picking in the top 5 looking to get a decent starter.

What's wrong with the pick? Well let's see...

The run D has stunk just about every year he's been a starter.

He can't rush the passer.

So don't come on here asking the ridiculous question what's wrong with the pick.

I don't care that the talent was limited that draft. There was talent that wasn't identified.

This.

If Tyson had been a sieve against the run but a monster pass rusher from the 3-tech or even adequate, people wouldn't hate him.

He's a very forgetable player.

That's not what you expect from any 1st...

Well it's good to see that we all know who the best players in that draft are 4 years later.

Dayze 01-31-2013 12:16 PM

Pioli is smarter than everyone. It's a process.

There were plenty of people here suggesting Raji, Crabtree, among others. I don't even remember anyone talking about Jackson till the rumor of us taking him came up just before the draft.

I would say a good 50% of fans wanted Aaron Curry. Because remember at that time DJ was a 'bust'.

Singularities are powerful...

I'll never forget watching that draft; my brother, as our pick approached, said "here comes Tyson Jackson". I was like "What? who the F is that. That doesn't even sound familiar"

he's known for being very sarcastic, so I figured he was.

then the pick was annouced. .....even then I thought "....what"?

Not here they didn't. There were a handful of people that wanted Curry. Not surprisingly, the people that were most vocal about NOT wanting Curry were also the same people that were most vocal about not liking the Jackson pick.
