If I'm FOX I have a hard time turning that down, as long as the money is decent.

Most definitely.

I'm pissed at FOX for completely ****ing up the FF story with Doom, and even more pissed for ****ing up The Silver Surfer and Galactus story EVEN WORSE. Now with the super duper reboot, Johnny Storm is black. I mean, good ****ing lord. Get these characters out of the hands of these butchers. /nerd rage

iI'll be about 10 years before this occurs, FOX will attempt multiple reboots then lose a shit load of money due to the over saturation of the franchises the do own the rights to. The next one on the chopping block that will be an instant stinker is the Fantastic 4 reboot of course.

Push that minimum time back a bit - they just announced yet another Wolverine movie, and have mentioned one more, probably in the X-Men line. They're going to keep those going probably until Hugh Jackman is too physically old to play an immortal. Maybe longer.

Also, there's no way they'll ever make a Secret Wars movie, even if they had all the rights - the series is largely seen now to be a low-concept, bad-quality, toy-hawking money grab, which it was. I think the one they've got is already an Infinity Gauntlet series, just without the X-Men.

Also also, yes, the Fantastic Four reboot will be terrible.

Why are they rebooting FF? I am so sick of having to see origin stories.

Because it was atrocious.

And the Human Torch is now Captain America.

In the new one the HT is gonna be black and Susan, his sister, will be white. LOL.

Not only did they announce another Wolverine movie, they've long since announced the next new x-men movie (apocalypse) and they released a 2017 launch date a few days ago for the fantastic four sequel, meaning it's likely already in pre-production. And there's word (well, rumor) of a crossover film between the two in 2018. I don't think either of those franchises are going anywhere soon.

Yeah, and they announced another beyond Apocalypse. They haven't said specifics, but speculation is that it will be another X-Men film, or a spinoff like Gambit or Nightcrawler.

I'm pretty sure they are going to follow the story arc of Ultron taking over the Hulk's mind in AoU.

ThaVirus 03-22-2014 09:20 PM

Where is there footage of the Hulk and Hulkbuster armor?

The X-Men and Spiderman series keep making a ton of dough for FOX and Sony. They wont be giving those up anytime soon.
