Don't forget Elvis once singed the Faders for 504 yards, even in a losing cause...

Green

Yeah, and the Chiefs Defense smothered Vick and Atlanta this season.

Doesn’t make them a good Defense, does it?

Green - The most underated QB in the league, I was amazed he got into the pro-bowl last year. He deserved it, I just found it hard to believe that they thought of him...he's got guts, want's to win, and is the first real leader we've had on this team since smokin' Joe Montana...

Dawson (before my time, but 2 SB's mean alot, plus I met him and he was pretty cool)

Montana - Dude. It's Joe. What else can you say??

Grbac

KCJohnny 11-19-2004 09:23 AM

Well, Gaz, we just disagree on this. Green has never had to carry the team on his shoulders as Grby did in '00. With teams knowing that we were passing on nearly every down, Grbac still threw for 4,169 yards, 28 TDs and only 14 pics. Not bad for a one-dimensional O that had no Priest...

Too bad he had the leadership skills of a gnat.

Gaz 11-19-2004 09:28 AM

You take that back...

On behalf of gnats everywhere, I demand a retraction of that slander.

Wonders if amoebas have an advocacy group.

I'm not saying the guy was Unitas, just pointing out that whether you regard him a leader or not (I'm not particularly impressed with his meltdown in Baltimore), he carried the team on his shoulders in a way that no Chiefs QB has had to since Bill Kenney.

I can't post'em AND retract'em.

Lucky to have a mustache in place to protect the monitor.

I'll admit Elvis had his moments. The Raider game on MNF was a great one.

He also had more than his share of monumental brain farts.
