for every player that proves to be a viable threat to drive, 1 less guy that can collapse into the lane. :thumb:

I know it doesn't seem likely, that's why Pitino scheduled it and then refused to do it again, because he got his clock cleaned by an inferior team. I guess I'm actually going to have to look now.

You're not bursting my bubble but most of those Kentucky wins have to be ancient. I've been watching KU for nearly 50 years and we don't have that kind of record against ANYBODY.

BTW, found it on http://www.rockchalk.com

Seems like a great site for KU information, historical and current.

I saw it in KU's media guide, it kind of shocked me. It wasn't very many games.

Whats kind of funny is the last 2 years in the tournament where we would be set up to face Kentucky, Kentucky always chokes and KU draws the inferior team. Marquette in 02-03, UAB in 03-04.

Saulbadguy 11-29-2004 09:43 PM

Nice follow...

DJay23 11-29-2004 09:44 PM

Saul beat me to it. I was wrong, it was Roy's SECOND year at KU, but still '89.

ROYC75 11-29-2004 09:44 PM

KY owned KU in basketball in the 60 and 70's, early 80's when we played them often, signing contracts for home and away games.

Yep, it's time to close that gap now.
