I think scalper is hanging in there nicely. Well, as well as can be expected. I mean, he's not incredibly witty but he's not actually floundering around too badly.

You know...right before I tore my knee up the first time I thought I was invincible too........thought my body could take a lot of punishment. It took me 6 months to recover from that injury. Since I was able to recover I again thought I was invincible. Then a couple of years later I tore the ACL, meniscus, and strained the MCL. That took me about a year and a half to recover from. I continued to play sports for several years but no longer thought I was invicible.....just a tough SOB. About a year ago I again tore my meniscus clean through. I finally had surgery to repair it back in Mar and am still recovering. During the surgery they discovered that the cartillige behind my knee cap is non-existent.

To make a long story short..........we are never as tough as we think we are.
