That was the TalkBack forum. The Talkback forum was supposed to be for reader's feedback to columns, storys, and such. I posted there for several years. Even continued to post for about 9 months after they shut it down because there were a number of us that had the link on their server bookmarked even after the link was gone from the paper's website. Manila Chief posted over there too.

It was kinda odd in a way, the Planet started because the Star BB was censored to the extreme, while the Talkback Forum never was censored. I guess they were too busy with you guys to bother with us. That's where I learned the smack talk. The group that posted there consisted of adults that wouldn't hold anything back.

After the Talkback was finally deleted from the server, I drifted to the newer Star BB for a while. Another oddity about the censorship is that while the first wave came here because of the censorship, I ended up coming here because they WOULDN'T censor the KCStar site. A certain group, that I will leave nameless, were being quite abusive and vulgar. One of them (the ringleader) kept talking about how horrible the Chiefsplanet website was. Since I didn't think much of his opinions, I figured that if he didn't like the planet, it might be alright so I checked this place out. I had a hard time keeping up at first, but I've been here ever since.

Yup me too, I was also a mod there but I quit in protest over something DEnise did. So long ago I don't even recall.

You mean the same one that shoves her political views on people here? My guess is if she defended Becky for banning people for political talk, it was the conservatives bashing the lefties that were getting banned.

There were only a few of you guys on that subforum. Since I knew nobody I went there and lurked. There was another guy that had strong opinions on there and you and I discussed him a couple of years ago. What was his name and did he ever show up here?

I'm just glad I was an admin of the football side and not the mess that was the political side of things. Which I guess made me an admin of the Park, and not the Pen...

I was an admin for the old rivals chiefs board, they gave me a little bit of cash and some tickets to the chiefs game...I wouldn't be surprised if some of you used to post there

That was a nice place in the beginning - I posted there occasionally. It was sad to watch it die.

You are probably refering to TKarlin. He was a School Supt in eastern KS. The guy was one of the best smack talkers I've seen on the net. In fact, to be totally honest, I've stolen more than a few of his Gems from over there and used them here. He never did make it over here. They tried to do up their own little board for a while, but when there are only a dozen or so left and you've dished it out with each other for a couple of years, the smack talk gets pretty weak - no matter how good you are.

Then again, there was a DrCool too. He was a raiderette fan that got kicked around a lot. He was VERY outspoken. He did post here a few times, but tried to wade in blasting away at everyone that moved and didn't survive the pile-on that ensued.
