WE will struggle for a little bit while Lamar is out. We have no more rebouding.

Gotta love the Lakers putting the Mavs away without the use of their #2 and #3 players.

BIG_DADDY 01-08-2007 01:42 PM

BTW Lakers are now 19-2 against the Mavs at home in the last 21 games.

great game last night. everyone stepped up while kwame and lamar are sitting out. i cant wait for the heat to come to staples so we can all see that fat ass shaq out there costing his team the game

Sasha had the game of his life, that 3 at the end of the game, was just pure clutch. Was definately a very exciting game to watch. Kobe is totally a different player this year. He is now making the players around him better.

i thought sasha was a wasted draft pick until recently he has really stepped up him and farmar are doing really well

Where the hell is Logical this year? He must have given up on the Lakers when Shaq left. Haven't seen him post in one Lakers thread this year.

Yea Kobe is a totally different player. I also think the Lakers have the most upside potential moving forward considering they have only floored their regular starters for a few games this season.

Pretty good 2nd place team.

Go Suns!

I am still disgruntled with the Lakers after the debacle. I follow them and will get serious if they are in a decent slot for the post season games. I was thrilled with the Heat victory last year though.

They are a fun team to watch dude. You're missing out if you're not watching them. They are hustling and playing team basketball. This is the most excited I ahve been about the Lakers in awhile. This team is more fun to watch too in that they are so young and you can watch them develope.

Like I said I think the Suns are the team to beat. It will take everything the Lakers have to get past them. It still may be a little premature but the Lakers club has huge upside right now for a long time to come.

77 points LOL

I am starting to love them.

Go Suns!

That's one loss that came during a stretch of beating San Antonio and Utah on the road. All in all they played well on a brutal road trip. You guys did what you had to do to beat us that game. Kobe got his usual calls from the refs. Meanwhile two Lakers players hammer Josh Howard driving down the lane and get no call.

Bottom line the Mavs have the best record in the NBA and are putting together huge winning streaks much to the dismay of David Stern and his officiating minions.

We have the best record in the NBA and your prediction of the Mavs not being one of the final four teams in the west is looking more and more ridiculous. The little general Avery Johnson is easily the best coach in the league right now.

The Mavs do look like a more complete team than they have in the past. I know everyone thinks they are the team to beat. I am so sick of hearing the same 3. Mavs, Suns and Spurs with Detroit having an outside chance now that they have Webber and Denver having a chance once hit and run comes back into the lineup. Lakers get zero consideration yet they keep competing with the top teams even without their 2nd and 3rd players on the floor.

Gotta love them Lakers beating the Spurs on their home court last night. Bunch of kids are great. THat makes me super sketchy about tonight though. The key to this game is the boards. Lakers bigs didn't hit them like they should of last time and that could of cost them the game. I'm a little worried about 2 night in a row thing too. THe Mavs gotta be seriously tired of the Lakers owning them over the years.
