Fixed it for you.

Just wear the seat belt. Seen too many wrecks where a seat belt would have saved lives.

Just wear your seatbelt morons. Are some of you so fat that you cant fit it around your huge gut? I really dont care if you dont wear one. Its all gravy to me, but dont be crying when your face gets plastered into the dashboard.

That's not even an excuse, unless you drive certain foreign car makes.

Of all things to bitch about... wear a seatbelt. I guess you hate helmet laws for bikes as well. I have no sympathy for the person on the bike that says "screw helmets" and then cracks his cranium wide open after a wreck.

Insurance companies should rule the world.

Actually, common sense should reign supreme.

You've seen nasty accidents... you know what happens to your unprotected head if you're traveling 60 mph on a bike and you collide with anything.

Same goes for a car and someone not wearing a seatbelt. Yes, there are times when you hear "He might not have survived had he worn his seatbelt". But, those are rare.

Those are just facts and I know it doesn't jive with your insurance companies rant... but, that's ok.

It's hard to have sympathy for such stupidity, but I would rather work an accident with people wearing seatbelts or helmets than work one they didn't.

Is it a law to wear one?

Why can't the insurance companies charge higher rates for people who don't wear seat belts? You know, like they do for other high risk insurees such as smokers. Sure, if you say you do wear it on your sign up forms but actually don't wear it, you have beaten that system. But they could have it on the sign up forms that if you get a traffic violation or are in a traffic accident with no seatbelt, you will pay a penalty on your insurance.
